Mrs. Betty Ford is applauded during her talk at the American Cancer Society dinner in New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel Friday night. She said that since her right breast was removed to prevent the spread of cancer there was no sign of a recurrence and that she felt "absolutely marvelous." In front row, from right are: Dr. George P. Rosemond, out-going Society president; Dr. Frank J. Rauscher, director of the National Cancer Institute; unidentified; and comedian Flip Wilson.
