First Lady Betty Ford gets a welcoming nuzzle from Misty, one of the family pets, as she is greeted by daughter Susan upon her arrival at Vail, Colorado, where the Fords will spend Christmas. Susan has been in Vail for several days with brothers Steve and Mike enjoying the skiing at the tiny mountain resort. Accompanying the President and Mrs Ford were Misty's mother, Liberty and brother Riba.
