Marine helicopter visits Vic Pitre Elementary School --- Staff Sgt. Michael Blythe, crew chief for the Huey helicopter, looks from the doorway during landing at Vic Pitre Elementary School in Westgo. A group of Marines from the MAG-42 detachment C, based out of NAS in Belle Chasse, Tuesday morning kicked off the start of their being "Partners in Education" with the school. Once a month throughout the school year, the Marines will be visiting classrooms, reading with students, talking about drug education and the importance of getting a food education.
