Ronald Reagan, then 55 and in his first months as California's new governor, hugs his wife Nancy in his Sacramento office in April, 1967. The former actor had become what he liked to call a "citizen politician." Nancy Reagan was in his capitol office advising workmen doing redecorating when this picture was taken.
