Cutline. It's Official Now. A contract for a color film documentary on the past and future of Jefferson Parish, the first project approved and funded by the Jefferson Parish Council for the Jefferson Parish Sesquicentennial Celebration, is signed by Parish President Tom Donelon, right. Looking on are C.J. Eagan, center, who signed as the Jefferson Parish Council Chairman; Betsy Swanson, who will service as the film's research consultant; and, standing, left to right, William Delgado, president, William A. Delgado Productions, which will film the 30 minute documentary, and Mel Leavitt, who will serve as script writer and narrator. The Parish will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 1975; activities are being coordinated by the Jefferson Parish Sesquicentennial Commission.
