The third successive weekly shrimp fleet blessing in St. Bernard Parish was staged Sunday afternoon with rites at Violet. The Reverend Clemens Schneider, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Violet, invoked the blessing on the shrimp trawlers. The Reverend Clemens Schneider, standing on boat at right, blesses the shrimp trawler Wilma Bayle in a Sunday ceremony at Violet. Father Schneider is pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Violet. The blessing of the shrimp fleet was the third on three consecutive Sundays in St. Bernard Parish.
