Disabled American Veterans - Florence Green and Officials. DAV Auxiliary plans for 1960 were related by the national commander Saturday night at a banquet here. Mrs. Florence Green (center), the top officer of the organization, was guest of honor at the Sheraton-Charles hotel event. Hosting the occasion were Mrs. Naomi Schweitzer (right), Louisiana department commander, and Sterling G. Verret, Harahan, DAV department commander. The Disabled American Veterans auxiliary is doing a bang-up job in their three-point hospital program, the national commander said here Saturday night. Mrs. Florence Green, Kalamazoo, Michigan, outlined the auxiliary's plans for 1960 at a banquet in her honor at the Sheraton-Charles hotel.
