Honored Wednesday night for his efforts in promoting trade between New Orleans and Argentina was Argentine Consul General Rafael M. Vazquez (third from left) who is leaving soon for reassignment to New York. He was recognized during a reception at the Plimsoll Club in the International Trade Mart honoring Argentina's ambassador to the United States, Eduardo A. Roca (second from left) . Vazquez was presented a bronze plaque by ITM president Lloyd J. Cobb (right). He also was presented honorary lifetime membership in the Plimsoll Club by Capt. J.W. Clark (left), president of Delta Steamship Lines Inc.
