Description
Mayor Vic Schiro flashes a $2000 smile today as he looks over two checks from last April's New York Mets-Minnesota Twins exhibition doubleheader at Tad Gormley Stadium. The Stadium district turned over $1000 to the NORD team headed for Johnstown, Pennsylvania and $1000 for the NORD Summer Baseball program. The money came from exhibition game receipts. Looking on, from left, are Bill Connick, secretary of the Stadium District; John Dussouy, chairman of the program committee; and John Sehrt, Certified Public Accountant hired by the Stadium District.

Photo is dated 1969.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
