Description
Gallier house tour guide Ann Masson and Nadine Russell, curator, laugh about the goldfish in a pond in the courtyard of the museum. Flowers and plants in the courtyard are rotated according to the season. What does a curator do? Well, how about washing dishes, doing promotion and publicity, running a coffee shop and restaurant, gardening, decorating, doing accounting and bookkeeping, research, handling large groups, and the list is endless. Nadine Russell, the youthful curator of Gallier House, ticks them off, smiles, spread her hands and says, "Where do I begin?"

Photo is dated 1973.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
