Marcus Neustadter, Anthony Hackett, Community Service Awards. Admiring plaques they received for community service in 1962 are Marcus Neustadter (left), news reporter and public relations consultant, and Dr. Anthony J. Hackett, Jr., a member of the Flint-Goodridge hospital staff. Athletics and competitive sports are pre-training and proving grounds for the making of good citizens, a speaker stated at a banquet honoring all district football players of the Greater New Orleans area. He was Robert H. "Bobbie" Lee, athletic director and head football coach of the Southern University "Jaguars" of Baton Rouge. The banquet was held at the Dooky Chase restaurant.
