Ferdinand Petrie was installed Sunday night as president of the Freret Carnival Club during ceremonies at Frank's Steak House, 5423 Freret. Other officers who assumed positions are W.E. Krammer, vice-president; Santo Anastasio, treasurer; Jerome Corona, secretary, and Frank Caminita, sergeant-at-arms.
