Two Louisiana National Guard paratroopers, members of the 177th Special Forces Detachment of New Orleans, drop to earth in St. Tammany parish during a public airborne exercise yesterday. More than 100 jumps were made without injury in the weekend maneuver, held eight miles southeast of Abita Springs. More jumps are planned in the future. The 177th Special Forces Detachment of New Orleans, 178th of Breaux Bridge and 179th of Baton Rouge took part in the exercises.
