This is the view of the Orleans Levee Board's weather information center. Teletype No. 1 (left) receives messages from the United States Weather Bureau, New Orleans District. Teletype No. 2 (right) is part of national hookup and receives immediate weather information from the United States Weather Bureau in Washington, D.C. Weather data is being relayed to field headquarters via radio transmitter by Clinton F. Fairleigh, weathermaster.
