Daryl Musso, six-year-old of Franklin, Louisiana, is a real major league hero in the fight against polio. When he was a year old, his body was invaded by a weak strain of polio virus. This mild virus was used in the oral polio vaccine developed by D.r Albert B. Sabin of the University of Cincinnati. The vaccine was developed with the help of March of Dimes grants.
