Two Chrysler Corporation technicians at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Michoud Facility assemble some of the more than 73,000 connections in the Uprated Saturn I booster's electrical system J.L. Willis (left) solders wires into terminals in a distributor. Joseph T. Thomas Jr. secures cable wires into connectors. In background to left is the final assembly area for the Uprated Saturn I first stages, designed for use in the Apollo manned lunar landing program.
