Description
Task Force goes all out to get schools in Mrs. Joseph L. Meyer (left), Mrs. T.J. Beauregard, and Mrs. Noble J. St. Amant send out check lists for Safety Honor Roll. The ladies of the Metropolitan New Orleans Safety Council's School Division are going all out to get the New Orleans schools into the National School Safety Honor Roll Program. Why? Every year thousands of children and youth in the U.S. are injured and killed in accidents that can be prevented. If the schools, parents, the youth themselves, and the local Safety Council join hands, these preventable accidents can be cut down considerably. That's what the School Safety Honor Roll program is for- to guide the schools in developing sound plans for safety education, says Mrs. Ferdinand J. Cefolia, the School Division's Safety director.
