After he orbited the earth for 14 days in December 1965, this is what Christmas looked like in astronaut Jim Lovell's house. This year Christmas gift-opening will be delayed a bit because Jim will be orbiting the moon Christmas Day as the commander pilot of Apollo 8. Daughters (from left) Susan and Barbara, Mrs. Marilyn Lovell, Captain Lovell and James III will be joined by son Jeffery, who was born three weeks after Lovell's last space flight, in the traditional Christmas festivities.
