Description
"India is politically better integrated now than it's ever been in its history," India's ambassador to the U.S., Triloki Nath Kaul, said at International House Monday on his first visit to New Orleans. That country hopes to do away with foreign aid in the next five to 10 years, he said, "by substituting trade of aid." There's no reason, for example, he said,"that our mutual trade can't be doubled or tripled."

Photo is dated 1974.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
