Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Ingles, home from Santiago. United States intervention in the Dominican Republic hurt that country's national pride but saved it from certain Communist takeover, a New Orleans businessman just back from the island republic said here. C.J. Ingles, who operated the Ecuadorian Fruit Import Company's office in Santiago, said President Lyndon B. Johnson's prompt action in sending in US Marines averted Communist domination.
