Mrs. Byrne Dean Hoffman, named "Miss Transportation of 1962" by the Traffic Club of New Orleans, chats with Richard A. Stanley, right, chairman of National Transportation Week in New Orleans, and M. Donald M'Namara, Traffic Club president. She was named yesterday at a meeting at the Roosevelt hotel, held in connection with National Transportation Week. She is a past president of the Women's Traffic and Transportation Club, members of which were guests at the luncheon. The women were led by Miss Rose Bolduc, club president. Mrs. Hoffman will compete next September in Houston for the title of "Miss Transportation of America."
