Dr. Monte Holland, head of the Ophthalmology Department at the Tulane Medical Center, demonstrates the use of the operating microscope which plays an important part in corneal transplant surgery. Mrs. Beth Hooker, clinical research technician, poses as model. Dr. Holland Performed Louisiana's first frozen corneal transplant Wednesday on a young male patient at Charity Hospital. The patient is in good condition.
