El Paso, Texas: Lieutenant Verne Goodwin, reluctant flyer who was sentenced to prison and then allowed to resign from the Air Force shown at home with his wife and 3-month-old son Roger. Goodwin was spared a two-year prison term at hard labor and dishonorable discharge, when Air Force officials decided he should resign "under conditions other than honorable."
