Description
Patrolman George Giordana uninjured in motorcycle accident - A bucking motorcycle which failed to hurt Patrolman George Giordana when it threw him at St. Roch avenue and Galvez street today at 6 a.m. was determined to cause injury. Only 15 minutes later at St. Bernard and North Claiborne avenues it again tossed Giordana to the ground, this time succeeding in fracturing his wrist. The patrolman explained that he and Patrolman Roy Letellier were engaged in turning on traffic signal lights early this morning while streets were wet from fog and when he applied the foot brake of the motorcycle it reared up into the air tossing him over backwards.
