Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Army commendation medal: Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Felfenfeld, research pathologist, received the Army Commendation Medal from Colonel Helmuth Sprins, chief of Department of Experimental Pathology. Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Felfenfeld, U.S. Army Medical Corps pathologist and international expert on tropical diseases, is a new member of the staff of Tulane University Research Center. Felfenfeld has been a research pathologist, Department of Experimental Pathology, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, since September 1962.
