Initiating the 1963 United Negro College Fund Drive for the New Orleans area, Sister Mary Josephina, president of the Xavier University, Tuesday named chairmen of the drive in her capacity as state director of UNCF, Harry England (right), president of Gulf Bottlers, was selected chairman, and Dr. Mack J. Spears, principal of McDonogh No. 35 Senior High School, was appointed co-chairman. --- England Head of Fund Drive -- Appointments Are Listed for Campaign -- Harry M. England, bottling company president, Tuesday was named chairman of the 1963 United Negro College Fund Drive for the New Orleans area at a meeting in the Board Room of the National American Bank of New Orleans Building. Named co-chairman was Dr. Mack J. Spears, principal of McDonogh No. 35 Senior High School, while Victor Labat, alumni director of Xavier University, will serve as the treasurer for the 1963 drive here.
