Candidates in the Orleans parish school board election are on hand as deputy clerks open voting machines Saturday to make transcription on the number of votes for each candidate in last Tuesday's balloting. In foreground (from left) are Dan Haggerty; chief clerk, and James L. Earhart, who was an apparent unsuccessful candidate. In top background (from left) are Lloyd J. Rittiner and Louis G. Riecke (with hat), who were apparent winners. Making the transcription are (from left) Sidney Plaisance and U.J. Landry, deputy clerks.
