Description
How far should police officers go in applying the law to wayward children? Should an officer go by the letter of the law or should he bend a little to help a child? That was the basis of a discussion by delegates to the Louisiana Juvenile Officers' Association's annual conference last week at the Travelodge--West in Harvey. After Detective Donald Dillon, Jefferson Parish sheriff's juvenile officer, completed a talk about runaway children, he led a discussion on how to handle the runaway.

Photo is dated 1974.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
