Opening the first session of the LSU In-Service police training school at the Jefferson Parish police academy were, standing,from left, Andrew Dinsmore, assistant special agent in charge of the New Orleans FBI office, and Edward T. Mungovan, assistant director of the LSU course. The class here was composed of Jefferson deputies. Classes will be held once a week for 17 weeks with each session lasting three hours. The school is sponsored by the Louisiana Sheriffs, Municipal Police, Peace Officers and Chiefs of Police Associations in cooperation with the FBI.
