1972 Press Photo David Cuthbert, Times Picayune staff writer, addresses students

Times-Picayune staff writer David Cuthbert (far right) addresses some 150 high school editors, journalism students and faculty advisors who attended Wednesday's all-day High School Press Institute program sponsored by the Press Club of New Orleans at its Gravier Street headquarters. Cuthbert spoke on critical reviews and interviews while The Times-Picayune Sports Editor Bob Roesler made a "sports beat" presentation. Fourteen media representatives from press and television spoke during the program. Clarence Doucet, first vice-president of the Press Club and staff writer of The Times-Picayune, was master of ceremonies. Thirty-eight area schools were represented at the meeting.
