New Orleans is being considered as the site for the 1968 National Shrine Convention, the Imperial Potentate of the 840,000-member organization has disclosed. Noble Harold C. Close, leader of the Shrine of North America and a resident of Hartford, Conn., said yesterday at the Roosevelt Hotel he could see no reason why New Orleans shouldn't have a good chance t secure the convention.
