Schiro's office Wednesday as his appointment was announced by Schiro. From left are Mayor Schiro, Carmichael, Councilman Daniel L. Kelly and Dr. Rodney C. Jung, city health director. Carmichael, who now heads the Chatham County, Georgia, Mosquito Control Commission, was recommended by Dr. Jung and Kelly. Carmichael is a native of Mississippi.
