Philip M. Caldwell, 67, will be honored at a dinner-dance Thursday at 8 pm in the Monteleone Hotel in recognition of his upcoming retirement from the Customs Agency Service Sunday after 38 years of government service. The Gallatin Award, authorized by Henry H. Fowler, secretary of the treasury, will be presented to Caldwell for his many years of honorable service in the government. He will also receive a cash award and certificate from Acting Commissioner of Customs Lester D. Johnson, for his special services to the Bureau of Customs in the field of photography.

Photo is dated 1965.
