Dr. Braden, a physician is president of the Louisiana State Medical Association. He is a member of the board of management of Maharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., the board of directors of the New Orleans Philharmonic Society, the board of directors of the Estelle Hubbard Home for Incurables, and a fellow of the American Board of Abdominal Surgeons. He is also a member of the Metropolitan Crime Commission, the Bureau of Governmental Research, the Committee on Housing for the City of New Orleans, and numerous other professional and civic organizations.
