Description
For the last month and a half, "Willin' Willie" has been bending the town'e ear in the classified advertisements by describing the automobiles he offers for sale as "dogs," "poor old codgers," "hags" and other such terms of approbation. The ads have polled enough reader attention that lately the fans have been coming to Willie's lot at 1616 Canal Street, not only to look at the cars that Willie deplored, but at Willie himself. "Willin Willie" is William "Bill" Bridge a rangy, energetic-looking man who has been in the used car business here for the past 20 years, or "long enough to get tired of the usual puffed up praises you sea all the time about used cars."

Photo is dated 1948.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
