Description
The sale of $200 worth of diaper pins to a distributor in the Caribbean would hardly involve the federal government right? Wrong. You see, the distributor wanted to buy on credit, which is where the Export-Import Bank of the United States came in. The bank's business is supporting the export of United States goods through financing and loan guarantees. Most United States export business, in fact, is transacted on a credit basis, according to Don Bostwick, executive vice president of the Export-Import Bank.

Photo is dated 1972.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
