Description
A footrace in which the contestants go nowhere is the highlight of the annual wine festival in vineyard country around Cucamonga, California. Groups of barefoot girls each take a stand inside a barrel filled with freshly harvested grapes. At the starterE™s signal, the girls begin to stomp. Amid shouts of encouragement from spectators, the girls put heart and sole into the mashing action. After contest, girls step into foot baths to rinse off feet. After the event has ended, contestants step into foot baths filled with clear water and rinse off their smeared feet.
