Trash Collection After Flooding, Terrytown, Louisiana. Emergency trash collections financed with federal money began Monday in Terrytown and will continue there through Tuesday. The extra trash collections planned to last for 30 days are scheduled so that all areas hit by flood waters last week may obtain quick clearance of debris. Jefferson Parish officials stated that only flood debris left at the curb will be removed.
