1968 Press Photo Bulldozer pushes sand into water at new Seabrook Bridge beach.

Description
A sandy beach is being created for swimmers at the new beach area on Lake Pontchartrain near the Seabrook Bridge. A bulldozer spreads the sand that is being delivered to the beach. A bathhouse will be completed in a few weeks. A 12-inch well to flush polluted water from the area will be ready in 30 to 45 days.
