At least six other friends of the popular Mrs. Cooper also were expected to take the stand today to outline either what they saw or what the victim told them about her relations with her estranged husband. Yesterday's testimony was highlighted by the statement of the murdered woman's 90-year-old grandmother that she saw a "tall man" fleeing the murder scene "in the middle of the night" of the crime.
