Off-duty New Orleans police and firemen were back on the picket line at City Hall Thursday after the threat of Hurricane Laurie ended in the Louisiana area. The group began demonstrating Monday for higher wages but were placed on standby Tuesday and Wednesday for Hurricane Laurie.
