A new fire station at Franklin and Mendez will be dedicated today at 8 p.m. Safety Commissioner McCloskey will be master of ceremonies. The $67,283 unit is the third new station opened by the Fire Department in the past 12 months. A fourth station scheduled to be opened in several months is under construction at Paris and Caton.
