Description
A plane swoops near the control tower at the Lakefront Airport as controllers I. M. Delgado (left) and Ronald Livaudais make a visual check on the landing gear. The telephone, radio, control lights and weather-reading instruments are all valuable tools of the Federal Aviation Agency men. During a perfect flying day, the sky blue, gently golden view isnE™t spectacular but is enjoyable. From the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway to the west and seven miles distant, nearly 300 degrees clockwise to the new Seabrook Bridge nearing completion, the visitor can pick out many landmarks. Louisiana.
