Men's Tie Foundation - President Samuel C. Pulitzer and Members. Samuel C. Pulitzer of New Orleans has been re-elected president of the Men's Tie Foundation at the annual meeting in New York city. Pulitzer is president of Wembley, Inc., tie manufacturer. Two specialists, who have brought modern scientific methods to the State Colony and Training School at Pineville for the retarded told of work now going on there at a meeting here last night. Dr. William Sloan, director of psychological services, and Dr. W.P. Hurder, superintendent, were the speakers. They talked at a meeting at The Roosevelt of the Association for Retarded Children of Greater New Orleans. New ways for helping children were discussed by Superintendent W.P. Hurder, of the State Colony and Training School at Pineville, center, and Dr. William Sloan, the psychological director, at a meeting here. Sam Pulitzer, left, president of the Association for Retarded Children, gave a report on equipment needs and other factors at meeting.
