Description
Two items on the long list that need correcting at the Orleans Parish Prison are inadequate plumbing and exposed electrical wires. Besides its general filthy condition, the toilet overflows against the wall and on the floor, causing the wall surface to peel. The transformer with exposed wires should be covered, according to the state fire marshal. Contact with the wires can produce a severe shock.
