Lie Detector - Sergeant James W. Kreubbe administers lie detector test to police clerk-typist Mrs. Floyd Joffrion in this posed photo. Hand electrode, pneumotube (around chest) and blood pressure assembly are attached to subject during test. Sergeant James W. Kreubbe, polygraph examiner at New Orleans Police Headquarters gives polygraph test to Mrs. Floyd Joffrion (clerk-typist in the traffic bureau). Equipment on subject consists of hand electrode which measures skin reaction; the pneumotube which records the respiratory cycle; and the blood pressure cuff assembly which records pulse rate, amplitude and relative blood pressure and changes in each.
