Description
This is where part of the volume of Louisiana crude oil will go for refining. This construction scene, as it appeared during Oil Progress Week, is just across the state line at Port Arthur, Texas. A tall derrick and boom is being used to erect No.3 Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit at The Texas Company's Port Arthur Works, which will add to the plant's octane improvement and middle distillate manufacturing facilities.
