Through hot days and cold days, fair weather and foul, the ordeal continued until 11 days ago, when the six-lane overpass finally was dedicated, enabling motorists to skim over the troublesome interchange. Few were happier than Ashton Jeansonne, the job superintendent. A Boh Brothers Construction Co. Inc. employee, Jeansonne has spent much of his 25-year bridge-building career on this project.
