Designed for super speeds - Walter Niles, Federal Aviation Agency information specialist, poses in Washington today with models of passenger planes designed to fly between 1,800 and 2,000 miles an hour. Boeing design at left has wings in takeoff and landing position. They fold in close to the body in flight. Lockheed design at right has nose that can be tilted down 15 degrees on takeoff and landing.
