Dedicated Wednesday, the new fertilizer plant of the National Phosphate Corporation is now in operation at Taft, Louisiana. The plant is in the Hooker Chemical complex. Louisiana's industrial growth last month was the greatest of all states of the nation, Governor John McKeithen said Wednesday at dedication ceremonies for the National Phospate Corporation's $35 million fertilizer plant here. McKeithen called attention to the state's industrial expansion in general and said it was the result of a political climate.
